Teens

Independence and identity sum up the needs of teens. They develop increasing control over the direction and execution of their projects. Each year a growing number of teens volunteer at the organization and some become teaching assistants.

Summer Classes

Teens explore their passions while they develop creative, technical and process skills that will help them in their academic study and prepare them for post-secondary life. Leonardo’s Basement is one of very few organizations in the Twin Cities providing opportunities for teens who enjoying building.

Volunteering & Job Training

Teens ages 16+ are welcome to volunteer at Leonardo’s Basement. Young people who have attended classes and volunteered may be considered for paid internships. Contact Tracy Nielsen about volunteering or completing service learning hours.
